I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas Holiday. We even had a white Christmas this year. Which sounds wonderful, but it made for a tricky ride up to Keith's parents house in the mountains. The state announced that chains were required on all freeways leading into the Columbia Gorge so we obeyed and put chains on our 4 wheel Drive. Which is kind of a pain. Anyways our chains kept breaking (I guess that is what you get for buying cheap ones) So finally we decided to take the risk and take the chains off. We made it just fine to Keith's parents house. We were a little late. But better late than never. We had a wonderful time. And enjoyed watching the kids open their presents.

This is Calum all bundled up to go out in the snow. He doesn't look to happy though!
So we had at least a foot of snow by Christmas morning. I know to a lot of you that is nothing but for us Washatonians that is quite a bit. No one knows how to drive in the snow so everyone gets stranded and the news channels talk like the end of the world is coming.

On Christmas day we went to my sister Whitnie's house for Christmas Dinner. Santa had gotten them Rock Band 2 for Christmas. We played for hours. I am thinking of starting my own Rock Band.

Loved the pictures of the kids! They have grown so much since we saw them last and of course we have never seen the baby. What's with all the snow this year? We haven't really stopped for a month. Your pictures were beautiful

Hey! Looks like we'll be 2 block away neighbors!?!? I'm excited to have you guys in our ward...it's the best! Congrats on the new house!

Have you ever checked out this blog? www.therhouse.blogspot.com
This chick is amazing and she's a huge advocate for adoption and has been in several magazines and on morning talk shows in Utah. Apparently her family is the new spokesfamily for LDS Family Services. Anyway, she's one of my favs.
